Novatek chooses TechnipFMC to design, build Arctic LNG-2 plant

MOSCOW, May 20 (PRIME) -- Arctic LNG 2 and the U.K.-based TechnipFMC have signed a contract on engineering, procurement, supply, construction and launch of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility with an annual capacity of 19.8 million tonnes under the Arctic LNG-2 project, Russian independent gas producer Novatek said on Monday.

Under the contract, the launch of the plant’s first line is scheduled for 2023.
